As a support worker, I wear many different hats. I am a professional but also a companion, coach, educator, and community bridge builder. I help people to live fulfilling lives, to be an inclusive part of their community, and enable them to develop and maintain relationships. My support means you have choice and control in your life. Variety is very much part of my role.
My name is Melanie Wells, l am the owner of Mells Care.
Over the past 30 years I have worked in many different roles from Phlebotomy forensics, government hospitals, private hospitals, children’s hospitals aged care, Disability, Mental Health, managing hostels around Brisbane and working with the homeless.
I’m blessed to have had so many different opportunities over the years which has given me the experience and knowledge for me to continue making a difference in peoples lives in the community.
I believe that everyone should be treated with kindness, respect and dignity, no matter who they are or where they have come from. My aim has always been to provide my clients with outstanding care to build their confidence so that they are able to develop their needs and fulfil their goals in areas that they require.
Mells Care will provide your family member or loved ones with the most exceptional care. My growing network of qualified staff can provide a range of services from in-home care, nursing, personal care, domestic assistance (light cleaning), therapies and community engagement.
I understand that every person is unique and has their own personality, goals and beliefs so I try my very best to arrange the right person for you or your loved ones needs.
